Thassos is served by the airport Great Alexander that is situated in the opposite coast and near to harbour of Keramoti. The airport is connected with Athens, but at the summer months is connected with charter flights with all Europe. From the airport at adistance of 10 kilometres there are ferries that connect THASSOS.
FERRIES:
Thassos is connected with the opposite coast of Macedonia with marine itineraries. The small distance of the island from the coast of Macedonia makes a pleasant marine walk of 35 min. There are also itineraries from Keramoti for Thassos, while from the city of Kavala they begin itineraries that it follows the line Kavala - Prinos,
- The itineraries are more frequent at summer period every 30 min. Itineraries with flying dolphins depart from Kavala to Limenas and from Kavala to Prinos.
ROAD TRANSPORT:
The island allocates very good road network. The main road artery is the regional street of island, with length of 100 km. Inside the island there are transports with buses starting from Limenas and Prinos. Three times per day the buses make the “Tour of Thassos”. During the summertime the itineraries become more frequent. You will find Taxi in all villages of island.
